Delivery Information
Before placing your order, please make sure the item will fit comfortably into your home. This is especially important for larger pieces such as corner sofas, sofa beds, or wardrobes. Double-check access points like hallways, doorways, staircases, and ceiling heights. Also, ensure the area where the furniture will be placed is clear and ready.
All items purchased with delivery will be brought directly to your home.
Delivery Costs & Options
Our delivery charges are based on the distance from our warehouse. You can check our delivery zones and pricing on our website or at checkout. Please note, some larger or promotional items may carry specific delivery fees.
The website calculates only the standard delivery cost. If you’d like upstairs delivery or a two-person team, these services are available for an additional fee. After you place your order, our customer service team will get in touch to confirm the details.
Zones 1–4: Standard delivery
1-person delivery, ground floor – customer’s assistance required.
2-person delivery, ground floor – extra charge (£25–£70). No customer help needed.
Upstairs delivery is available for an additional £10. Please speak to your sales representative or contact our customer service team before placing your order.
Zones 5–7: Standard delivery
1-person delivery, ground floor only – customer assistance required (an adult must be present).
Courier delivery – via a third-party company.
For certain postcodes, delivery may only be possible through courier companies – usually to the main entrance/ground floor/on a pallet. Tracking details will be provided where applicable.

Collection from Warehouse
You may also choose to collect your order directly from our warehouse, located on Tyburn Road, Birmingham. This option is available at checkout.
If your item is in stock, collection can usually be arranged quickly. Made-to-order products may require more time. After your order is placed, we will contact you to confirm availability and collection date. You are also welcome to call us in advance for this information.
Delivery Schedule
Our standard delivery hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm. In some cases, Saturday or evening delivery may be arranged for an additional fee. Sunday deliveries are not available except during peak periods (e.g. Christmas).
If your item is in stock, we aim to deliver it as soon as possible – usually within 1–4 weeks of payment. Made-to-order furniture may take more or less time. You will be advised of the estimated timeframe once your order is placed, and our team will contact you by phone or email to schedule delivery.
Please note: estimated timeframes are approximate and may be subject to change.
Delivery Terms
Please make sure someone is available to receive your delivery at the agreed time. If you cannot be home, contact us at least 24 hours in advance at 0121 327 8259 or 0121 327 2892. Missed deliveries may incur a re-delivery charge.
Once your order has been delivered, responsibility for the goods passes to you. Please check your items carefully on arrival and report any visible damage to: aftersales@cjcfurniture.co.uk.
Assembly & Product Information
Delivery does not include assembly.
Flat-pack items arrive boxed for self-assembly.
Sofas may require partial assembly.
We do offer assembly for upholstered furniture (sofas, etc.) in the West Midlands area for an extra fee – please contact us in advance.
We do not assemble flat-pack furniture.
We are not responsible for any damage during delivery.
Product dimensions may vary by ±3 cm as all upholstered items are handmade.
All balances must be paid before delivery. For finance orders, a signed agreement must be completed and received.
Old furniture removal is not provided.
Preparing for Delivery
It’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery path and room are safe and accessible. Our staff cannot remove footwear, so please protect your floors or request shoe covers. Children and pets should be kept safely away during delivery.
If your item cannot be delivered due to restricted access or sizing issues, we reserve the right to leave the product or return it to our warehouse. In such cases, full payment will still apply, along with a 20% handling fee. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
We value your time and kindly ask that you are at home when we deliver.
Remote Area Surcharge
For deliveries to UK isles, the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and postcodes: PA (20–98), PH, AB, DD, IV, HS, KW, ZE, BT, IM, GY, JE, and PO (23–41), please contact us for a delivery quote. Online orders may not always show the correct charge, but any additional fees will be confirmed before delivery.
Unfortunately, we do not deliver outside of the UK.
