We respect your time and we ask you to do the same with ours, that’s why we ask you to be home for the time of the delivery.

If you can’t make it in time then please give us a call on 0121 327 8259 or 0121 327 2892 at least 24 hours before delivery. If you contact us in time, we will be able to rearrange your delivery date and avoid any additional costs for you, otherwise a standard delivery charge will be added to your balance.

Normal delivery times are between 10am - 6pm on Monday to Friday. However, occasionally we will be able to offer a Saturday, or evening delivery at a premium cost. There are no deliveries on Sunday apart from busy periods i.e. Christmas. If the ordered product is available we make every attempt to deliver it as soon as possible. However, we usually carry out orders within 2-4 weeks from the date of receiving payment. Please note that some orders may be delivered earlier or later than the above-mentioned period. You will be informed about the estimated order processing time when placing the order. Please remember it is only an estimate and is not a warranted time.

We agree on the delivery date by phone/e-mail with the customer. We determine the cost of delivery based on the distance of the delivery address (zone) from our warehouse - please check the price list and the postcodes of the delivery or make a quote on the checkout.

All furniture purchased from us will be delivered directly to your home. Standard delivery is 1 person, ground floor – upstairs delivery is extra (£5 - £20), 2 person delivery is an extra charge (£20- £50 - only to zone 1-4). Further postcodes may be delivered by courier companies - delivery to the main door of the building/ground floor.
Where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the customer isn’t present to receive the delivery ( 1 man delivery option) we reserve the right to charge the customer a standard delivery charge will be added to your balance to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery.

Delivery costs do not include their assembly. The flatpack furniture is transported in packages for self-assembly; sofas for partial – assembly. We offer assembly service for upholstered furniture (sofas), however, please contact us in advance (option payable additionally). We cannot assemble any flat-packed furniture. We are not responsible for any damages that occurred during delivery. The actual dimensions of upholstered furniture may differ from those given on the website within +/- 3 cm as all are handmade

Before placing an order, please make sure that the product will fit into your home. This applies especially to orders for large corners and sofa beds, wardrobes (whether, for example, measure the halls, doorways, the height of the staircase ceiling in the house allows the furniture to be brought in). Please make sure that the area you want the furniture placed in is cleared of obstructions.
The customer is responsible for making the room of his choice as accessible for the delivery team as possible, as the delivery team will not be held accountable for any damages caused to the property. If the ordered piece of furniture will not fit into your home due to the product’s dimensions or lack of access, we have the right to leave it unloaded and demand full payment or Goods which we shall then take back to our premises and charge a handling fee of 20% of the value of the Goods. Delivery charge is not refundable. Unfortunately, we are not able to take away your old furniture.

After the item has been delivered the customer becomes responsible for delivered products. You have to examine all products upon receipt and inform us about any deficiencies or visible damages. Please inform aftersales department by sending an email to

Before we deliver your order, any outstanding balance must be paid to us in full, or if you have chosen to take out finance on your order with us, then we must have received your signed finance contract.

How does it work?
- What is the minimum order value to apply for finance?
We offer this financing option on all orders over £600. The 10% - 50% deposit is required while placing an order.

Do I qualify for financing and what is the criteria?
To apply for financing, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 or over
- A resident in the UK for at least 12 months
- You must have a UK bank account that can accept direct debits
- Employed (minimum 16 hours), retired or receiving a disability benefit
- Your order must be delivered to your bank account's billing address
When you have made your application to Hitachi, they will securely process your application and ensure that you meet the correct credit rating criteria for financing.

What information will I need to provide?
During Hitachi’s secure application process you will be asked to provide some basic personal details such as your marital, residential and employment status. You will also need to have your bank account handy, proof of address and possibly your credit or debit card information for deposit and ID verification.

Do I have to have hard-copies of my documents or credit card on me?
No, the Hitachi application process is 100% paperless. You will receive the contract and T&C on your email provided. You will simply need to provide your credit card information when applying for finance. The person who applied for finance must be present upon delivery or collection. You might be asked to show your card/ proof if ID upon delivery/collection from store.

What is the order and application process?
1. Choose the furniture you wish to purchase. The order value must be at least £600 for the finance option to apply.
2. Inform the CJC Furniture sales assistant that you wish to pay with the finance or choose this option in the checkout while ordering online.
3. With the help CJC Furniture sales assistant enter your details in the application form.
4. You will normally get a decision from Hitachi instantly. In case your application doesn’t get approved instantly don’t panic - follow these steps and call us / Hitachi directly to get an update on why your application has been disapproved.
5. Complete the e-signature.
6. You will receive an order confirmation from us and we'll start processing your order.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, we do require 10% - 50% of the order value to be paid while placing an order. You simply choose your repayment period of 6 or 9 months and pay by direct debit.

What happens when I apply?
Hitachi processes your information and performs a credit check through an automated system. It will take 30 seconds to find out if you are accepted. Sometimes this automatic process may be inconclusive in which case one of Hitachi’s team will have to manually check your application and will come back with a decision usually 30 minutes to 1 day later. If they need to, they may contact you by email to provide more information to help them make a decision.
If you are accepted you may be guided through to verify your ID or pay a deposit before proceeding to review your contract agreement. You can then follow the instructions to sign it electronically and check out successfully.

Why was my credit application declined?
While the lender will never tell us exactly why they decline a customer (due to data protection), it’s usually due to eligibility, not having enough credit experience, having negative credit file information or providing unsatisfactory information in the application.

Orders paid with finance are unable to amend, cancel (after the cooling-off period of 14 days after placing the order). Any change might result in cancelling the finance agreement paying the handling charge or losing the deposit. The person who applied for finance must be present upon delivery or collection. You might be asked to show your card/ proof if ID upon delivery/collection from store. Delivery address cannot be changed after completing the application form.

Can I make bigger repayments or pay off my loan earlier than agreed?
Yes, you can repay the credit early at any time in full or partially.
