We are committed to protecting the personal information that you provide, and recognise the importance of being clear about how we intend to use it.

All personal information provided by you through this website will be under the control of CJC Furniture acting as Data Controller and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy notice explains how we may use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This notice is effective from August 2018.

What personal information we may collect

When you visit our website we may ask you for personal information to allow us to contact you to deal with your request or enquiry.   • If you submit your post code or location to find a service - and your home is a the only property that uses that postcode
  • When you visit our website and have chosen not to disable cookies – your Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
  • If you apply for a job – and complete and submit the on line application form and attach your CV

What is an Internet Protocol (IP) address?

An IP address is a number that can uniquely identify a computer or network device on the internet.


How we intend to use your personal information

To provide a service: we will contact you for reasons relating to the details or service you are enquiring about using the contact details you have provided.

To send you further information about our services or survey your opinion: we may also retain these details to provide you with information about our own service we think you may find interesting, or send you a survey about your experience with us. We will do this using the contact details you have provided. The marketing section below and your account profile will provide you with further information should you wish to stop us contacting you. To deal with your account and profile we may email you to confirm your email account or of you request a password reset because you have forgotten your password.

If you are enquiring on behalf of someone else, we may need confirmation you are authorised to act on their behalf before we can discuss their personal details.

Will my personal information be shared with other organisations?

Your personal information that you give to us via our website may be transferred to our 3rd party providers who undertake the following on line services on our behalf.

What forms of ID will I need to provide in order to access this?

CJC Furniture accepts the following forms of ID when information on your personal data is requested: Passport, driving licence, birth certificate, utility bill (from last 3 months).
